Dana + Matt + Brock

I had the pleasure of photographing my good friend Dana and her family a couple of weeks ago. Brock is 3 and so much fun. Mom and Dad kept him entertained during our photo shoot by slipping him snacks. If you look closely, you might see one in his hands!
When I took these, Dana was 9 days away from delivering her second boy. They welcomed Westin into the world on Tuesday the 29th. He is such a sweetie and I can't wait to get my camera on him!

Meet Maya

Isn't she beautiful?? She is the daughter of one of my oldest and best friends, Nikki. Nikki and I have been friends since 6th grade when we both liked the same boys. I wonder where Dana and Chad are these days?
Nikki and I were pregnant at the same time and Maya is three months older than Nicholas. We don't get to see each other very often but Nicholas and I took a road trip to Springfield last weekend to visit. We had a really good time and of course I took a lot of pictures!!




This is how Nicholas hugs. He leans his head in and says "Awwwww". Too cute!

Jen + Steve Engagement Session

It was a cool dreary day here in Columbia but we went out and made the best of it. We walked all over town and found some fun locations. We were hoping for some fun sun setshot but there has been NO SUN in Columbia for a long time. I am looking forward to the true arrival of spring. We will have to save those awesome sunset shots for the wedding day! Steve and Jen, I had so much fun and I can't wait for May 10th!

Memaw and Family

My dear friend Susan asked me if I could take some pictures of her family. Her grandmother (Memaw) is sick and in her PJs a lot so Susan thought it would be fun for all of the girls to wear there jammies and hop into bed with her. I LOVED that idea. I also captured a few of Memaw and her husband Carter. They are such a cute couple. I had so much fun with this family!

Vegas Baby!

My sister and I were in Vegas last week for WPPI convention. This was my first year and it was amazing! I can't wait to go back agian. While I was there I had to opportunity to check out all kind of new products and wedding albums. Here we are in the Kiss Wedding Book photo booth:


I went to several classes that were good but the class led by Jerry Ghionis totally blew my mind! I left there feeling totally inspired and challenged. I can not wait for wedding season and the opportuinity to really get creative. If you don't know his work, check him out. He is fabulous!

Fun with Bree and John

I met Bree and John downtown the other night to shoot some pictures and we had a blast. And a special thank to their mom Kim who stood behind me dancing to get some laughs out of them.

We met Grandma and Grandpa Turner at the lake this weekend and grandma bought Nicholas these new shoes:

We think he looks so cute in them and we just happened to have some beautiful weather this week. Nicholas and I put on his new shoes and went out to enjoy it. Nicholas was distracted by the neighbor walking her dogs and yelled for them over and over.

Where did those dogs go?
