Kerri + David Wedding Reception ~ Columbia, MO Wedding Photographer

Last week Kerri and David were married in the Rivera Maya. I really tried to talk them into taking me with them but alas, they did not. Their wedding was beautiful but they wanted to celebrate at home with their friends too. So, I went to Mexico, MO to shoot their reception on Saturday night. They had the placed decorated to look like a beach to give everyone a little taste of their actual wedding. Never mind that it was 20 degrees outside! Brrrrrrr!!! I am ready for Spring! Here are some of the shots from the night.

Amanda and Joe are good friends of mine. Amanda helped me a lot when I was starting my business. She is a designer and she created my logo for me last year.
They are getting ready to welcome an addition to their family any day now. We got together earlier this month to document her expanding belly. I think she looks adorable. Here are a few of my favorite shots. Can't wait to meet that baby girl!!

6 months. I think this is my FAVORITE age to photograph when it comes to children. They are just sitting up but they can't crawl away from me yet. It is perfect. It was such a pleasure to photograph this little doll last weekend. She is the sweetest little baby girl! Here are some of my favorites.

Baby Jack belongs to my good friend Heather. We have been very anxious for his arrival for some time. I got to spend the afternoon with the family on Friday including grandma and grandpa. I just LOVE babies and Heather, he is so beautiful ;)

Hmmmm, let's see...

There is no better way of finding out your own little habits than having a toddler in the house. They are little sponges soaking up every single thing you do and then repeating them for you. Apparently when my husband can't find something, he puts his hand on his chin and says, "hmmm, let's see". Nicholas started doing this last week. The first time I just cracked up and called Jeremiah in the room. The next time, I pulled out the camera. It is just too cute!
