Kitty + Matt Engagement Session

I had the pleasure of meeting and shooting Kitty and Matt on Thursday evening. These two are so adorable. I am going to love shooting their wedding. We started out at Kitty's parent's beautiful home and the neighbors field. We then headed to campus where Kitty and Matt met.

Here are my favorites from the shoot. Can't wait to see you guys this spring!!

Marianne + Scottie Wedding Day

Scottie and I have been really good friends for several years. He packed up and moved to LA around 5 years ago. We have stayed close and he brought Marianne to our home over Christmas this year. They had just gotten engaged that week. I was so happy to meet her. She is a beautiful person inside and out. Scottie, you did good. I was so excited when they asked me to come to California to shoot their wedding.
Marianne's family has a avocado and lemon farm. They were married in the grove of avocado trees. It was really beautiful and the weather was perfect.

Scottie does wedding videos in California and his boss/friend, Tom, was there to document the day for them. He was also there just helping out too.

Jen + Tyler Wedding

Jen and Tyler...where do I begin? When I arrived at the hotel to capture some getting ready photos, I walked in the room and her dress was spread out over the bed. Jen told me that earlier in the day she had her dress hanging in the shower and one of her friends turned the shower on. Oops! Jen pointed outside at the rain and said "oh well, it is going to get wet anyway". At that moment I knew it would be a easy going laid back day. Little did I know that the day would end with this:

Now, back to the pool. Jen told me that she wanted to jump in the pool in her wedding dress. This was a first for me but everyone from the reception filed outside and watched. It looked like too much fun so the bridesmaids decided to join her. It was so much fun!

All of the commotion drew a crowd on the hotel balconies.
